so she can make arrangements with a Testing Center close to your student's remote location. This includes TechOnline students taking our online courses. It is important to contact her at the beginning of the semester!
For online students that are local, if you are teaching an online course and would like for your computerized tests to be proctored and password-protected, SCC’s Testing Center will be available to provide these services for your students.
If you anticipate sending students to SCC’s Testing Center to take an online test or a test that requires computer access, please contact Shelia Counts @ ext. 4709 to discuss your testing requirements.
In order to ensure that the Testing Center is adequately equipped to meet the needs of our online students, it is essential that she be informed of any special software that an online course requires for testing purposes. She needs to know of these requirements as soon as possible.
When you need to send students to the Testing Center for computerized testing services, please e-mail (countss@sccsc.edu) detailed instructions explaining the procedures to be followed by the proctor administering the test. If possible, please let them know at least 24 hours in advance that a student will require a computer for testing at our facility. They currently have limited space, (17computers) and this advance notice will help them better serve the student.

Spartanburg Community College’s Testing Center is located in room E-3 of the East building. Please remind your students that they are not allowed to bring their children on campus and that a picture ID is required to verify identity before a student is allowed to take a test.
