Refund Policy
Fall 2008
It is the policy of Spartanburg
Community College
that students or sponsoring agencies/programs receive a fair and equitable
refund of institutional charges if a student withdraws from the College or
reduces the number of credit hours to below 12 credit hours.
Federal financial aid recipients are defined as those students who
receive Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG),
and/or a Federal Stafford Loan.
Institutional charges are defined as all charges for tuition and fees, books, supplies, and required
course materials purchased with federal financial assistance at the Book Inn.

To receive a tuition refund, you must complete the drop
process. Refunds will not be generated unless the student initiates the
drop or withdrawal.
The percentage of refund is based on the day the
completed Drop/Add/Withdrawal form is received by the Record’s Office. This
also applies to classes that you have never attended.
