Using Windows Media Encoder
The following instructions are for using
Windows Media Encoder 9.0 to take your existing recorded videocam video and
converting and compressing it to a smaller Windows Media File, which you would
then upload into webct. If you don't have Windows Media Encoder 9.0, you
can download it at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/encoder/default.mspx.
For help using your webcam, you will need to consult your webcam operating
instructions.

- Click on Ok.

your file to convert. (.avi, .mpg, etc.)

Results window will pop up telling you what it did.

Media Player and play your video.

Player.

- When it asks "Do you want to save the session before
continuing?," click No.
- Now, log into your webct class, go to the area you
need to upload your video and browse to find it on your computer.
Remember, you are looking for a file that ends in .wmv, not your original
webcam file.
