1.	Connect to the Internet, open your web browser, and type in the following URL (web address) to access SCC’s homepage.	http://www.sccsc.edu
2.	Login to the Portal using your Web ID and your password.
3.	Click the Blackboard Tab
4.	Click Log in
5.	Enter in your username and password
6.	Click on the link to the course you want to access.
7.	Attention: What is my WebID/Username and Password? · Usually your WebID/Username will be the first initial of your first name-first initial of your middle name- and your last name: Example: John Jacob Smith= jjsmith If your username is unique, usually a additional number will be added to the end. · Your initial password will usually be the last 6 digits of your social security number without hyphens. Example: 123456 ( if you already have a password please use the password that was given to you.) If you are unable to log onto Blackboard: · Recheck your WebID/Username and Password. If you cannot log in using your WebID/Username and Password, you will need to contact the IT Help Desk (itsupport@sccsc.edu or (864)-592-4682 and get them to reset your password for you. This will also apply if you are unable to log into the portal. (On the weekends, you will need to email them your name, phone number, and college id #) If you can log into Blackboard, but you do not see your class(es): · You may be trying to log in too early! In most cases you have to wait until the first day of class to access your course. · Check WebAdvisor to make sure you are registered for the course.
